Print of a kākā from my splashy kiwiana watercolour series.
I love the mischievous personality of the kākā. My favourite experience with kākā was on Kāpiti island where I had a kākā land on me and we had a game of chase as it was trying to follow my food around my body, whilst I was trying to keep it away and finish eating it before it could steal my lunch.
