For this steel wool photo, my husband offered to wade through the cold
waters of Piha lagoon in order to help create the image I had in mind.
To create the photo, I purchased a dog lead, attached a metal hand whisk
to the end of it, placed steel wool inside it, and had him light it and
then spin it in wide circles while I took a long exposure shot of the
sparks that flew out from the circle of fire. The reflection of it in
the still water was an added bonus.

Due to limited health and having emigrated to England, where shipping costs to largely NZ based customers would be prohibitively expensive, I am only making digital downloads of my photographs available at this stage. There is no shipping charge for digital downloads.
