I believe these fruits are from the sweetgum tree. We call them spiky balls. I took this photo at Waikumete Cemetery in West Auckland, New Zealand one Autumn day.

Due to limited health and having emigrated to England, where shipping costs to largely NZ based customers would be prohibitively expensive, I am only making digital downloads of my photographs available at this stage. There is no shipping charge for digital downloads.
